JAMIE WOOD
PRESIDENT/FOUNDER
Maritime Hockey Academy President and Founder Jamie Wood wanted to create a school where student-athletes could pursue academic and athletic excellence. A place where young people would develop exceptional athletic skill and character, and a positive motivated teaching and coaching staff would assist these athletes in their academic and athletic pursuits. Maritime Hockey Academy is the result of that dream. Coach Wood brings 10 years of coaching experience as well as the experience of starting sport specialty schools. He founded the Warner Hockey School in Warner, Alberta, and helped over 50 athletes earn scholarships to NCAA and CIS schools. He is currently the Associate Head Coach with the University of New Hampshire's Women's Hockey team and is passionate about bringing his knowledge and experience to help Maritime Hockey Academy become the premier sport specialty school in Atlantic Canada.
