Cornell Grad Visits MHA Jun. 10, 2010
The students at Maritime Hockey Academy were visited this week by recent Cornell University graduate Blake Gallagher. Gallagher, 22, just finished his 4th year as a hockey player at Cornell where he was an assistant captain and the team's leading scorer in his senior year. He shared some of his experiences with the MHA students and spoke of the importance of combining excellent academics with athletics.
Blake then joined the students on the ice for their afternoon hockey session and graciously gave away his stick to one very lucky MHA stuent.
Maritime Hockey Academy would like to thank Blake for his time and wish him the very best in his future as he enters pro hockey!
