MHA Idol Winner Crowned

Maritime Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that Sam Robertson of Mr. Greenwood’s grade 8 class is the winner of the 2010 MHA Idol competition. Robertson’s vocal talent, along with his charismatic stage presence and energetic dance moves captured the hearts and won the votes of his school wide audience. Singing Bon Jovi’s ‘Living on a Prayer’ he truly was able to showcase his natural talents as a rocker. Other honourable mentions that gave Sam a good run in the finale include Noah Whebby, Luke Henman, Zachary St-Onge, and Zakk McKenna. Big thanks to all of those who participated in the competition.
